Yes. We offer free estimates so we can look at the project, talk through what you want done, and give you clear pricing before work begins.
How do I get an estimate?
You can call or text us at (618) 223-3439 or use the estimate form on our website. Giving us the project location, approximate room sizes, flooring type, and a few photos can help us understand the job before we meet.
How long does a flooring installation take?
It depends on the size of the project, flooring type, tear-out, and how much prep is needed. Once we see the job, we can give you a realistic timeline for your project.
Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. Allen's Flooring handles both residential and commercial flooring projects throughout the Metro East.
Flooring Installation & Materials
Can I buy my own flooring and have you install it?
Absolutely. We regularly install customer-supplied LVP, laminate, hardwood, and carpet. We can also help you figure out how much material you should order for the project.
What types of flooring do you install?
We install LVP, laminate, hardwood and engineered wood, carpet, and other flooring depending on the project.
Do you install baseboards, trim, transitions, and stairs?
Yes. We can handle finishing details including baseboards, quarter round, transitions, stair work, and other trim related to your flooring project.
Do I need to move all of my furniture first?
Not always. Furniture needs vary by project. Let us know what is in the rooms when you request your estimate and we can plan for it with you.
Tear-Out & Floor Prep
Do you remove and dispose of old flooring?
Yes. Tear-out and disposal can be included in your estimate for carpet, laminate, vinyl, hardwood, tile, and other existing flooring when needed.
Do you handle subfloor prep and floor leveling?
Yes. We check the surface before installation and can handle common prep work, underlayment, repairs, and leveling needed to give the new floor a solid foundation.
What happens if you find a subfloor problem after tear-out?
If we uncover something that could affect the installation, we will show you the issue and talk through the repair before moving forward. We want the new flooring installed over a sound surface rather than covering up a problem.
Bathroom Remodeling
Do you do complete bathroom remodels?
Yes. Allen's Flooring does more than flooring. We also take on complete bathroom remodels and can coordinate multiple parts of the project from demolition through the finished room.
What bathroom remodeling work can you handle?
Depending on the project, we can handle bathroom flooring, tile, PVC wall panels, vanities and tops, faucets and fixtures, baseboards and trim, shower doors, shower updates, and other general remodeling work.
Can you remodel the bathroom without using traditional wall tile?
Yes. PVC wall panels can be a more affordable alternative for some bathroom projects. We can talk through the look, budget, and application to decide what makes sense for your bathroom.
Can I get one estimate for the whole bathroom project?
Yes. Tell us what you want changed and we can look at the full scope during the estimate. We will make it clear what work and materials are included so you know what the project covers.

We are based in Troy, Illinois and regularly work throughout the surrounding Metro East, including Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Maryville, Collinsville, O'Fallon, Highland, Belleville, Granite City, Alton, and nearby communities.
I'm outside Troy. Can I still request an estimate?
Yes. If you are in or around the Metro East, send us your location and project details. We regularly travel outside Troy for flooring and remodeling projects.
